Cultural Autonomy

Cultural Autonomy is the idea that every culture should exist in equal standing with all other cultures. It is an attempt at eliminating cultural domination.

The Cultural Autonomy Treaty is what some call a new society treaty. It is a groundwork for building a society that is not constrained by market forces. It is a treaty that any person or group can adopt as a foundation for cultural relationships and practices.

The Treaty of Cultural Autonomy

1: Every culture has the right to exist as long as it does not try to destroy, disrupt or dominate other cultures.

2: Every culture has the right to define and defend it’s own territory as long as it does not interfere in other cultures.

3: Every culture has the right to determine it’s own membership according to it’s own rules.

Personal Rights

4: Every person has the right to leave any situation at any time.

5: Every person has the right to the necessities of life.

6: Every person has the right to travel through the territories of other cultures.

Nature

7: Nature has the right to be free from devastation and destruction.

8: Resource use and extraction must be done only with consent from all affected cultures with respect for the natural environments. Respect territories and wildlife.

9: Humans are the caretakers of the natural environment and must protect natural ecosystems from those intending to exploit them.

Cultural Autonomy Treaty

Nature Rights

These include the rights of all living beings.

All of life has a right to freedom of movement
Every living being has a right to territory.
All of earth's resources must be shared equitably.
At least half of the earth must be kept for nature and not developed by humans.

Human Rights

Every person has the right to the necessities of life, without charge or conditions.
Every person has the right to leave any situation, subject to terms on return.
Every person has the right to participate in cultural practices with or without others.
Every person has the right to say no

Cultural Rights

Every culture has the right to exist as long as it doesn't harm or disrupt another culture or the environment..
Every culture has the right to territory.
Every culture has the right to self determination
Every culture has the right to determine membership
